A Poetry Festival

An NCPA Library Presentation

Words in Bloom is a two-day celebration of poetry in its many voices, languages and forms bringing together acclaimed poets and emerging talents on a shared stage.

The festival unfolds through a thoughtfully curated series of 45-minute multilingual poetry sessions, which take the form of intimate indoor readings and evocative open-air performances.

The programming reflects the richness and diversity of contemporary poetic expression, featuring works in multiple Indian languages and across varied styles and sensibilities.

Among the highlights of the festival are open-mic sessions on both days to offer an encouraging platform to young and first-time poets.
