An NCPA Presentation
Petal Stories by dance ensembles Kaishiki Dance Academy & Drutam Dance Ideas Lab
Inspired by the beautiful flowers which surround us; this show takes us into the inner world of five different flowers and the stories that define them. These are stories inspired by Indian mythology, folklore and the poetry of great mings like Rabindranath Tagore and Kahlil Gibran. Each flower has its own significance and a special message and when captured through dance, poetry and music, each comes alive to inspire us and create magic.
Petal Stories, a beautifully choreographed spectacle, is conceptualised, directed and produced as a collaborative venture between Indian classical danseuses Daksha Mashruwala and Anusree Bonnerjee coming together with scriptwriter Sudipta Dhruva and music composer Kaustuv Kanti Ganguli.
