Donohoe has appeared with the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic and BBC Concert Orchestra, St. Petersburg Philharmonia and Berliner Philharmoniker among other renowned ensembles, giving concerts across the world—from South America, North America, Europe, China, Hong Kong and South Korea to Russia. He has performed extensively at the BBC Proms, Edinburgh Festival, La Roque d’Anthéron in France and at the Ruhr and Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festivals in Germany.

Donohoe has served on the juries of several international competitions such as the International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow, Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels, as well as for national competitions within the UK and abroad.
