“Somewhere inside all of us is the power to change the world” – Roald Dahl
Inspiring words by one of the greatest storytellers of our time. An adventurer himself, Dahl’s tales were synonymous with sudden twists and turns that enthralled readers the world over. Works such as “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Matilda” are some examples of riveting story construction and unexpected plot twists, for which Dahl was adored equally by people of all ages. To honour his centenary this September, the NCPA is staging some of Dahl’s most popular works; the pieces will range from short stories and rhymes for children and adults, to adapted enactments for the theatre.
