Samson leads the Hebrews in a revolt against the Philistines in order to get release from slavery.  A beautiful Philistine woman Delilah is sent to seduce Samson and learn his secrets. Unfortunately, she succeeds and the Philistines conquer the Hebrews again. In the end, Samson is able to gather up his strength one last time to destroy both the Philistines and himself.
