Many wonderful short films are being made in India. Filmmakers are at work in their own regions, devising bold, new ways to experiment with form and technique. Short Film Corner hopes to be a showcase for these films and open a dialogue between the filmmakers and their audiences.
Ocean of Joy
Hindi Film (15 mins)
Vijay finds no meaning in life after the death of his beloved fiancée. He tries to end his life, but destiny has other plans.

Hindi Film (14 mins)
Three cynical youngsters travel through time to experience the Indian freedom struggle and return with new-found meaning of what freedom and their country means to them.

Pankhol
Marathi Film (26 mins)
Pankhol is the story of Rama and Mohan who have lost their son Chinya in an accident and are trying to cope with their sorrow. Where Rama holds in her grief, Mohan is trying to bring her out of it. The submerging boat is symbolic of their loss.. Pankhol is a journey of acceptance and healing.
