An NCPA Presentation in collaboration with White Wall Screenings

Many wonderful short films are being made in India. Filmmakers are at work in their own regions, devising bold, new ways to experiment with form and technique. Short Film Corner hopes to be a showcase for these films and open a dialogue between the filmmakers and their audiences.

Amidst the chaos of planning his son’s birthday, Sandesh’s phone, crucial for a call he is expecting from an investor, gets accidentally thrown away. In his quest to retrieve it, he discovers emotional depths never experienced before.

Twelve-year-old Josh receives news that throws his world off balance. As he struggles to understand and cope with his emotions, his friend Andy wants to be there for him but doesn’t know how. Andy’s uncertainty mirrors Josh’s turmoil, and their friendship is put to the test. Will they find a way to talk about their feelings, or will the silence between them grow?

A doctor battles the chaos of COVID in the hospital, haunted by memories of peaceful days by the sea with his daughter. Once bound by the waves of the ocean, they now endure the storm of a pandemic. This is a story of resilience, love and the quiet strength found in remembrance.

Admission on a first-come-first-served basis. NCPA Members will get preferential seating till 6.20 pm.
