NCPA presentation in collaboration with Subak

Suryachi Pille is a story of four sons of a celebrated freedom fighter, three of whom bear the burden of the father’s legacy rather heavily. Living in the delusion that they—the sons of the sun—ought to be as great as the father, they try pathetically to live up to their delusional image, thus ruining their happiness and even lives in the process. The fourth son, however, sees their folly and brings them around. Told with loads of humour and empathy, Suryachi Pille is a delightful yet eye-opening story of these Pille (kids) of Surya (the Sun).
