An NCPA Presentation

Rimsky-Korsakov: Scheherazade

“Western classical music is heavy.”

“The music of Beethoven and Mozart is difficult to understand.”

Dr. Cavas Bilimoria is back with his engaging talks on Western classical music that take participants through musical concepts, the lives of composers and their famous works, sprinkled with examples of recorded music. In his first talk of the new year, Dr Bilimoria will discuss Rimsky-Korsakov’s masterpiece Scheherazade. It displays the prowess of the Russian composer in creating an orchestral kaleidoscope of the beloved tales of One Thousand and One Nights.
