As in the past eight years, the NCPA is at the heart of the festival in which over a hundred great writers, speakers and performers from 15 countries will take part in a festival now described as one of the best in the world. In a departure from previous years, the pass system is being discontinued to make things more convenient. All major talk and discussion sessions will take place in the Tata Theatre. Admission, as usual, will be on a first-come-first-served basis. Performances will take place at the Experimental Theatre, while specialised talks and discussions will be held at Godrej Dance Theatre and Little Theatre. Admission is free to all, so block your diaries and listen to acclaimed names like Neil MacGregor, Upamanyu Chatterjee, Shashi Tharoor, Aatish Taseer, Sebastian Faulks, Alan Hollinghurst, Rajdeep Sardesai, Michael Brearely, Mark Tully, Aruna Roy, Jayanta Mahapatra, Shobhaa De, Pavan Varma, Sagarika Ghose, R. A. Mashelkar, Tishani Doshi, Karan Thapar, Harnidh Kaur and many others.
Entry free, on a first-come-first-served basis.
