Event Details

Thespo started off in 1999 as an evening of one-act plays and has now evolved into a  global community of young theatre makers, passionately driven by the belief that theatre has the power to bring about positive change in the world. We nurture a network of emerging artists from around the globe to collaborate, train, showcase, and celebrate the live performing arts.

Every year, Thespo showcases the best talent in theatre from across the country in a weeklong festival in December. This year Thespo 26 will take place from 2nd to 8th December 2024 and will culminate in an awards night to recognise the outstanding emerging artists that participated this year. We will also be celebrating the life, work, and legacy of a theatre veteran whose contribution has redefined the industry, by felicitating them with a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Entry is absolutely free, so do come early to grab a seat for a very special evening.

Entry free and on a first-come-first-served basis.
