Breaking The Fourth Wall of Inhibition

Focus Area: Defeating The Inner Critic

The primary goal of the first hour will be to dismantle self-consciousness and social masking. Through high-energy physical exercises participants will be encouraged to embrace imperfection, find comfort in the silly, and establish the psychological safety required for creative risk-taking.

Active Listening & Spontaneous Connection

Focus Area: Presence and Awareness

Effective communication is 10% speaking and 90% listening. Second hour of the workshop shifts the focus from waiting to speak to listening to understand.

Character & Connection (Solo & Pairs)

Focus Area: Individual Expression and Duets

Participants will now apply their openness to structured improv prompts. This Hour focuses on building “who, where, and what” through solo & dual scenes.

Group Improv

Focus Area: Collective Intelligence

In the final hour, we will bring the entire cohort together for complex group Games & performances. The focus is on the group mind & learning that in Theatre ultimately, the team is the hero.

About the Conductor:

Vishal Shah

Vishal shah is an eminent Actor, Facilitator and an Art Entrepreneur hailing from Ahmedabad, Gujarat who is now a renowned name in the regional circuit.

As for Screen Acting, Vishal has acted in 5 major Gujarati feature films, 4 Web series & several regional advertisements. Vishal bagged the award for best actor for Theatre in 15th Transmedia Gujarati stage & screen awards, Mumbai.

As for Theatre, he has worked in over 35 Theatre Productions with more than 1000 shows across India. He has also written & directed more than 100 Productions for Educational Institutions, Corporate companies & Experimental spaces in Ahmedabad. As a Facilitator Vishal has trained and mentored around 500 Theatre/Acting workshops in last 10 years which has catered knowledge about Theatre, Acting & Communication skills to almost 20,000 individuals of Educational Institutions, Corporates & also Theatre enthusiasts. Lastly as an Art Entrepreneur Vishal heads a Theatre company “Indie Productions ” & Experimental Space ” Prayogshala ” which are both leading in the regional circuit.
