The Vasant Gujarati Theatre Festival, taking place in April 2025 at the NCPA, is a celebration of this rich and evolving tradition. Bringing together the finest works of Gujarati theatre under one roof, this festival is dedicated to the Gujarati theatre audiences and theatre groups.

This year, with a focus on offbeat and diverse performances—including plays, poetry and spoken word, and workshops that break away from the mainstream—the festival serves as both a tribute to the legacy of Gujarati theatre and a platform for contemporary voices. Through this curated showcase, the NCPA aims to expand the reach of Gujarati theatre, fostering deeper engagement with audiences and creating a space where culture and creativity meet.
