An NCPA Presentation

Isha Sharvani began her journey in dance at the age of eight under the guidance of her mother and guru, Daksha Sheth. She trained in yoga, gymnastics and various movement traditions from different states of India, including Kathak, Kalaripayattu, Malkhamb, aerial ring techniques and Mayurbhanj Chhau. Today, she is one of India’s prominent young dancers. She has acted in Hindi and Malayalam films, and performed at various venues and festivals, including the  Let’s Dance International Frontiers festival in Leicester, Jamshed Bhabha Theatre in Mumbai, Perth Festival (formerly called the Perth International Arts Festival) and  Southbank Centre in London.
This class is designed to provide your body with conditioning to help you feel both strong and flexible. The focus is on gently energizing the body, making it suitable for individuals of all ages and fitness levels. You’ll learn a simple set of yogic and fitness exercises that can be safely practiced at home.
