Western Music Recital

An NCPA & Stop-Gaps Cultural Academy Presentation

The Young Talent Concert series, now in its 35th year, presents three young pianists who are carving a niche for themselves in the world of music.

Ishaan Krishna A, 13, started piano lessons at Crossroads School of Music and completed his ATCL in 2023. He has appeared for his LTCL and is currently pursuing his FTCL under the guidance of Father Thomas Chakkalamattath, Chetana Music Academy, Thrissur.  He is a student at Vidyodaya School, Thevakkal Ernakulam, Kerala, studying in class eight.

Aditi Ramkumar, 18, completed her ATCL under the guidance of Tuhin Rao, Pune. She has participated in masterclasses of Parvez Mody and David Vandereyk. A student at St Mary’s Junior College, Pune, she is awaiting her ISC Science examination results.

Rose Dam Roy, 11, has completed her ARSM. She started learning the piano at the age of six with Kaushik Das in Kolkata and is occasionally mentored by Spanish pianist and conductor, Eric Varas. She is home-schooled.

The programme comprises works by Beethoven, Debussy, Liszt, Mendelssohn and Schumann.

 

Admission on a first-come-first-served basis. NCPA Members will get preferential seating till 6.20 pm.
