An NCPA Presentation
The dynamic production concerns three families through 100 years of Greek family life. In the village, Theodosios abandons his wife and gorilla child, and then spends a lifetime trying to get them back. The other cast of characters include Meta, who is neither male nor female; Yiorgos, who is both man and beast; Young Agape, who can stop men’s hearts with a look; and Mirella, the ancient whore, who finds a calm place to tell her tantalising tale.
