Jazz Beyond Borders

A concert that showcases the influence of Latin, Indian, Caribbean, Cuban and other world music on jazz, featuring special guests. This is a one-of-a-kind concert that features some of the most popular jazz standards with an organic blend of world music influences. The band will perform some of its acclaimed compositions such as ‘Cosmic Chant’ and ‘Turkish Delight’, both of which topped the iTunes India charts for weeks after release. Fronted by jazz and fusion flautist Rajeev Raja, the line-up will include some of India’s finest jazz musicians along with accomplished Indian classical musicians. This is part of the ongoing ‘Jazzification’ series curated by Raja that aims to introduce jazz to a wider audience.
