Jazz music is sometimes viewed as being mysterious. It is quite the opposite.

The JAZZ FOR FUN series of workshops are planned to demystify this genre of music and presenting it in a way that is easy to understand and enjoy.

An informal session on October 7, 2017 will include some performances by jazz musicians and some information about the aspects of the performances. There will also be a question – answer session and an open mike segment where participants are encouraged to participate.

These sessions, highlighting the music of jazz greats and their styles are expected to be a regular feature at the NCPA.
