James Lisney enjoys a rich musical life, moving seamlessly from concerto and recital soloist to chamber musician, song accompanist and pianist director. He has held residencies at New York’s Carnegie Hall, the Amsterdam Concertgebouw and Leipzig’s Gewandhaus and performed sonata cycles of Schubert and Beethoven in major venues in Berlin, Oxford, Cambridge, Brussels, Edinburgh and throughout France.
