Dvořák: Symphony No. 7
In the second set of talks in May, Dr. Cavas Bilimoria will take the participants through Dvořák’s highly regarded Symphony No. 7. A profoundly intimate composition, it is perhaps the most sombre one of Dvořák’s oeuvre. The music, however, is fuelled by a bohemian spirit that is never burdened by its sentimentality.
