Western Music Vocal Recital

An NCPA & The Olga & Jules Craen Foundation Presentation

Subin Sebastian Mathai, OJCF’s incumbent Young Musician of the Year (2017), discovered his unique voice at a young age, although his life changed direction when he had the opportunity to sing for renowned soprano Patricia Rozario OBE. He went on to study under Mumbai-based soprano Minaish Doctor and serenaded audiences in Mumbai and the UK. Mathai is currently a pupil of not one but two of the world’s greatest singers, countertenor Michael Chance CBE and tenor Ian Partridge CBE at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he is currently pursuing a Master’s degree. Also featured in the concert will be the soon to be selected YMOY 2018.
