This recital has been organised to celebrate the 90th birthday of Arvind Parikh, the sitar maestro of Etawah Imdadkhani gharana. The evening will start with a traditional tabla solo by Zakir Hussain, the indescribable icon. His recital will be followed by the recital of Shiv Kumar Sharma, whose name is inseparably associated with the santoor. Hussain will accompany the maestro on tabla.
