Adriana Lecouvreur, an actress at the Comédie-Française in Paris, is in love with Maurizio, the Count of Saxony. He can’t take a decision on who he loves – Adriana or the Princess de Bouillon. The story follows the rivalry between the two women as they fight for Maurizio’s love.
