A PANEL DISCUSSION
NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR PROMOTION OF SINDHI LANGUAGE
Minsitry of Education Government of India
&
SINDHI CULTURE FOUNDATION
jointly presents

A thought-provoking book discussion on “The Making of Exile: Sindhi Hindus and the Partition of India” authored by Nandita Bhavnani. This event aims to shed light on the often-overlooked experiences of the Sindhi Hindu community during one of the most tumultuous periods in Indian history.

We are honored to have distinguished speakers for this event:
Nandita Bhavnani (Author)
Moderator: Aruna Madnani
Panelist: Sifra Lentin

The discussion promises to delve deep into the rich narrative woven by the author, exploring the challenges faced by Sindhi Hindus during the Partition era and their resilience in the aftermath of displacement. It provides a unique opportunity to gain insights into a lesser-explored aspect of Indian history.

“The Making of Exile” is a poignant narrative that not only illuminates the lesser-known facets of Partition history but also pays homage to the resilience and fortitude of the Sindhi Hindu community in the face of adversity.

We sincerely hope that you will grace us with your presence and contribute to enriching this dialogue.

Following the event, there will be a delightful High Tea and Sindhi refreshments session where you can mingle with fellow attendees and enjoy some scrumptious treats.

Free entry on a first-come-first-served basis.
