A reporter falls in love, at first sight, with a playwright during an interview; a film producer is avoiding women because he is afraid they might propose to him; and three flatmates vow to remain single for the rest of their lives. Fool’s Paradise is a charming, delightful soufflé of a language that is simply superb and a sense of comic timing which is second to none; a screwball comedy, complete with silly wordplay, misunderstandings, laugh out loud moments, but clever in its execution.
